Yashasvi Jaiswal’s stellar performance earned him the Player of the Match award. It propelled him to a career-high third position in the batting rankings. Jaiswal’s knocks of 72 and 51 helped India secure a seven-wicket victory. With 792 rating points, he trails only Joe Root and Kane Williamson. Veteran batter Virat Kohli re-entered the top 10, rising six places to sixth, while Rishabh Pant dropped three spots to ninth.
Ravindra Jadeja maintained his top spot in the all-rounders’ rankings, followed by Ravichandran Ashwin. India held steady in second place in the team rankings with 120 rating points, just four points behind leader Australia. The Indians continued to dominate the World Test Championship table with a point percentage of 74.24%, ahead of Australia’s 62.50%. Other Indian players in the top 15 include Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill at 15th and 16th, respectively, in batting, and Kuldeep Yadav at 16th in bowling. These rankings reflect India’s strong performance in the Test format.
