Bridge Destruction in Baltimore gulps down 6 Lives; caused by ship Colliding with the Francis Scott Key Bridge!

Six individuals are feared to have lost their lives following a ship colliding with the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, USA, on Tuesday, leading to its collapse into the water. Authorities have ceased rescue efforts, presuming the missing individuals to have perished in the incident. The container vessel Dali, crewed entirely by Indians, experienced a temporary loss of power before colliding with the bridge. It was reported that 22 were safely relocated unharmed, and several repair workers are said to be still missing. They were part of a maintenance crew tasked with repairing potholes on the bridge at the time of the collapse, which occurred around midnight.

US Coast Guard Admiral Shannon Gilreath said in his words, wondering that none would survive this mishap and no person would be found alive, considering factors such as water temperature. The police have transitioned from search operations to recovery due to challenging conditions for divers, including water temperature and currents. The Indian Embassy in the US extended condolences for the tragic incident and established a helpline for Indian citizens impacted by the collision. A special hotline was set up for Indian citizens.
