Bill Gates: Google search, Amazon could end if AI evolves

Microsoft Founder Bill Gates has made a major prediction about the future of Artificial Intelligence, saying that it could bring an end to Google search and Amazon if it continues to evolve at this overwhelming pace. During the AI Forward event hosted by Goldman Sachs, the tech billionaire stated that if an AI system learns the thinking patterns, needs and human emotions, it could actually alter human behaviour, as most people would stop searching sites altogether, as AI could provide them with their required information in basically no time.   

Bill Gates believes that Microsoft is very well poised to become a leading entity in Artificial Intelligence in years to come. The tech conglomerate is investing heavily in AI, and their system is currently being designed with meticulous planning. Gates also expressed his faith in the rapid progress that is being made towards AI in companies across the world, with a special mention to Inflection AI, co-founded by Reid Hoffman. Microsoft recently made a $10 billion investment in ChatGPT and is currently in the process of integrating the AI system with Microsoft Office.
