Biden to meet UK’s Sunak and Denmark’s Frederiksen over Ukraine
US President Joe Biden will be holding important talks with his two key NATO allies – United Kingdom’s PM Rishi Sunak and Denmark’s leader Mette Frederiksen. The agenda behind their discussion will be NATO’s further course of action to aid Ukraine against Russia’s continued attacks in their ongoing conflict. However, their support for Ukraine may escalate to a whole new level as there have been increasing discussions about providing US F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, which is currently preparing to launch a major counterattack on Russia.
UK and Denmark are said to play a vital role in deployment operations without being blocked by Russia on any fronts. Biden will be aiming to obtain a consensus on this matter with his two NATO partners before putting this plan into action. However, this will likely escalate tensions between Russia and the Western world, as Ukraine has only received humanitarian and moderate military aid to Ukraine to date as opposed to fighter jets, which may potentially be a game-changer for Ukraine. The Russia-Ukraine conflict has been going on for over 15 months now, with no visible end to it. More updates on this development are expected soon.
