Adipurush Box Office Collection Takes a Big Dive on Day 5

Adipurush box office collection has visibly taken a big hit as it continues to head towards a slump. The Day 5 collection of the film amounted to only Rs.10 crore, and its domestic collection now stands at Rs. 247 crore, as per Times Now. Globally, its collection stands at Rs. 340 crores, but the growth numbers have witnessed a major slash. The film was made with a massive budget of Rs. 500 crore, and it looks like the producers and investors may incur a major loss with the current box office trends.

There are multiple facets of public criticism that have visibly affected Adipurush box office collection. The VFX of the film was widely criticised even before its release when the audience saw a glimpse of how the makers have reimagined the visuals of Ramayana. Quite recently, the netizens also expressed their disapproval of the character’s looks, as well as the dialogues. The film’s dialogues were called crude and offensive in nature, and even though writer Manoj Muntashir defended and explained his work, the criticism and poor ratings continue to damage Adipurush box office collection.
