A shocking incident revealed a 47-year-old’s heinous act with an 11-year-old child

Bangur Nagar police arrested a 47-year-old man over a shocking incident wherein he raped an 11-year-old child residing in the neighborhood for over ten days. To refrain from revealing, he threatened her to stay mute to avoid any harm. Reports said the girl stayed alone most of the time, as her parents remained distant due to work. The accused was friends with the child’s father and visited very often. On a later Saturday, the child complained about stomachache; on questioning, she expressed every bit of the mishap to her mother.

Her mother, along with certain activists, approached the police, and a case was registered under the relevant penal code along with essential acts for child protection and sexual offenses. Without further due, the accused was arrested within 30 minutes of registering the complaint and presented in the court on Sunday, handing his custody to the Police. Police are now trying to know if the accused was involved with other individuals committing similar conduct.
