Minimal but gradual growth in earning for Vicky Vidya ka woh wala Video

On Day 3, the comedy film  Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala video, starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri, maintained a steady position at the box office, raking in ₹6.31 crore

Directed by Vasan Bala and set in the picturesque town of Rishikesh, the film follows the comedic journey of Vicky and Vidya as they search for a missing CD. After a strong start with ₹6.9 crores on the Dussehra holiday, the film saw a slight 8.55 per cent dip in its Sunday collections. Despite this drop,  Vicky Vidya outperformed its closest competitor,  Jigra, which collected ₹5.53 crore on the same day. The three-day total for the film now stands at ₹18.71 crore. The movie, which premiered with a net collection of ₹5.5 crore on Friday, has garnered significant attention in mass circuits, even though Saturday’s growth of 25% was deemed lower than expected.

Occupancy rates in key cities varied, with Chennai leading at 79.75%, Bengaluru at 40.50%, and Hyderabad at 31.25%. Trade analysts Sumit Kadel and Taran Adarsh commented that while the film performed well, especially given the Dussehra holiday, growth in urban centres could have been more robust. Produced by T-Series, Balaji Telefilms, and Thinkink Picturez, the film features a star-studded cast, including Mallika Sherawat, Vijay Raaz, Tiku Talsania, and Archana Puran Singh. With a budget speculated to be around ₹20-30 crore,  Vicky Vidya has carved out a solid position at the box office in its opening weekend.
