However, even if syncing is disabled, users will still be able to sync individual contacts with an upcoming beta release manually.

By syncing a contact manually, it will be available across all the linked devices. Additionally, a new contact backup option will be introduced, allowing users to restore their contacts if they reinstall the app. This feature is still in development and is expected to be available to everyone in a few months.
