Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the importance of unity in achieving prosperity and empowering the nation. Addressing a gathering in Agra, he warned that division would lead to destruction, saying, “Batenge toh katenge” (if divided, we will be slashed off). Adityanath referred to the situation in Bangladesh, urging people to learn from its mistakes and stay united. He emphasized that a nation can only be strong when its people are united and good. He further stated, “Ek rahenge to nek rahenge, surakshit rahenge aur samriddhi ki parakashtha ko pahuchenge” (if together, we will be good, secure, and reach the pinnacle of prosperity).

The Chief Minister’s remarks were made at a rally in Agra on August 26, where he unveiled a statue of Rashtraveer Durgadas Rathore, a Rajput noble who led resistance against Mughal attempts to annex the Marwar Kingdom. Adityanath shared a clip of his speech on social media, highlighting the need to realize the resolve of Viksit Bharat (developed India). Adityanath’s strong unity pitch comes at a time when the country is facing various challenges. His emphasis on the importance of staying united to achieve prosperity and empowerment resonates with the audience.
