WhatsApp to support voice interaction with the Meta-AI Chatbot

WhatsApp is set to introduce a voice chat mode for the Meta AI chatbot, allowing users to interact with the AI using their voice instead of text. This feature is currently in development and will be enabled in future updates to the messaging app. The voice chat mode will allow users to choose from ten different voices for the Meta AI chatbot, each represented by a differently colored circle. Currently, only the Android-based beta variants of WhatsApp(2.24.17.16 version) offer the option to select the Meta AI’s Voice.

However, enrollment in the beta program is not always open, and users must have an Android device to access it through the Play Store. Once the feature is rolled out to all WhatsApp for Android users, they will be able to select from the ten available voices for Meta AI. While the exact differences between the voices are not yet known, it is assumed that they will offer a variety of accents and tones. It will allow users to personalize their interaction with the Meta AI chatbot and choose the most comfortable voice. Adding voice chat mode and customizable voices will make interacting with Meta AI simpler and more convenient. It will likely enhance the overall user experience.
