Playstation Portal now available in India; Stream games from your PS5 to Portal!
Sony has officially launched the PlayStation Portal in India, marking the device’s debut in the region nine months after its initial release in the US.
This handheld remote player is designed for the PlayStation 5 console, allowing users to wirelessly stream their installed PS5 and PS4 games over their home Wi-Fi network. The PlayStation Portal boasts an innovative design: a DualSense controller with an 8-inch, 60Hz 1080p IPS LCD stuck in the middle. This touchscreen display can emulate the DualSense touchpad, offering a seamless gaming experience. The device retains all the features and functionality of the DualSense controller, including haptics and adaptive triggers. In terms of audio, the Portal has built-in speakers and a headphone jack, ensuring an immersive gaming experience. Additionally, users can pair Sony accessories like the PULSE Explore and PULSE Elite headphones for wireless audio.
The PlayStation Portal is priced at INR 18,990 and will be available starting August 3 at various retailers, including Sony Centers, Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance, Vijay Sales, Blinkit, and other participating stores.
