Due to the grand wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant scheduled at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), several offices in the prestigious commercial hub have opted for employees to work from home until July 15. This decision aims to mitigate traffic disruptions and restricted access caused by the extravagant festivities, which are set to continue from July 12 to July 14.
Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries Ltd. Chairman Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of Viren Merchant, will tie the knot on July 12. The wedding has drawn significant attention and participation from celebrities, business leaders, and dignitaries globally, leading to a surge in hotel bookings and prices across Mumbai. Luxury hotels in BKC reportedly charge as much as ₹1 lakh per night during this period, with properties like Trident and Oberoi fully booked from July 10 to 14.
