Bajaj Auto is set to make history with the launch of the world’s first CNG-powered motorcycle, the Bajaj Freedom 125, on July 5
This innovative two-wheeler features a unique twin-tank setup—one for petrol and another for CNG—providing flexible fuel options for riders. The CNG tank is secured by circular braces attached to the main frame beneath the petrol tank. The Bajaj Freedom 125 comes equipped with two separate switches, allowing users to switch between petrol and CNG as needed seamlessly. This groundbreaking bike will be unveiled at an event in Pune, with Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari in attendance.
The dual-fuel setup is expected to offer significant benefits in terms of fuel efficiency and cost savings, making it an attractive option for customers with monthly earnings in the range of Rs 30,000-40,000. As per industry sources, the Bajaj Freedom 125 is likely to be priced affordably, catering to a broad segment of the market.
