Actor Manoj Bajpayee recently expressed his admiration for several recent films and stressed the importance of originality in storytelling. In an interview with Pinkvilla, he highlighted films from various languages that caught his attention. He praised Rishab Shetty’s “Kantara,” Ranbir Kapoor’s “Animal,” Yami Gautam’s “Article 370,” and Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s “R” for being both entertaining and original.
Bajpayee particularly commended “Kantara” for portraying rituals and faith while still maintaining mainstream appeal, considering it a reference point for him. He expressed similar sentiments for “R,” “Article 370,” and “Animal,” appreciating their entertainment value and stressing the importance of keeping stories authentic and original.
Recently seen in “Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout” on Zee5 and “Killer Soup” on Netflix, Bajpayee has upcoming projects, including films like “Bhaiyya Ji,” “Despatch,” and “The Fable.” “Bhaiyya Ji,” set to release on May 24, revolves around a man seeking revenge for injustices against his family. Additionally, he will appear in the third season of Raj & DK’s web series “The Family Man.”
