Firing of Mockery at Salman’s Residence

Mumbai Police have detained Sonu Gupta, brother of the accused Vicky Gupta, in connection with the firing incident at Salman Khan’s Bandra residence on April 14. This development marks a significant step in the ongoing investigation, as reported by Mumbai Crime Branch on Friday. The investigation revealed that Sagar Pal, one of the accused in the Galaxy Apartment firing case, was enticed by the allure of a gangster lifestyle and sought to emulate it. Subsequently, he got involved with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and was contracted for the shooting outside Salman Khan’s residence, promising lucrative compensation, according to Mumbai Police sources cited by ANI.

Preliminary findings indicate that Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21) were hired by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang to carry out the shooting, as reported by PTI. Gupta and Pal, the arrested suspects, confessed that the firing was intended to intimidate the superstar rather than inflict harm or take his life. Additionally, they claimed that the attack was a retaliatory measure against Salman Khan due to his involvement in the Blackbuck poaching case, according to PTI.
