Ranbir starrer Ramayana getting forged!
Despite the absence of an official announcement regarding Ranbir Kapoor’s “Ramayana,” the project has consistently grabbed headlines. Recently, director Nitesh Tiwari commenced filming in Mumbai, and leaked photos from the sets featuring Lara Dutta and Arun Govil have surfaced. Zoom recently acquired images from the “Ramayana” sets showcasing Lara Dutta and Arun Govil embodying their respective characters. Govil, renowned for portraying Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s rendition of the epic, will portray King Dashrath in the film. Meanwhile, Lara Dutta is set to portray Kaikeyi. In the leaked photos, Arun Govil was depicted interacting with young boys on set, donning a long beard and a mukut adorning his head. Lara Dutta was draped in a saree, complemented by elaborate gold jewelry.
However, the leaked images have left fans of Ranbir Kapoor disheartened and frustrated. Some urged the production team to implement stricter measures on set to prevent leaks, while others appealed for the restraint of spreading unauthorized photos and videos. For those unfamiliar, Ranbir Kapoor is slated to play the role of Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s adaptation of the epic. Sai Pallavi has been cast as Sita, succeeding Alia Bhatt, who withdrew from the project due to scheduling conflicts. Speculations suggest that KGF star Yash may portray Ravana, with Sunny Deol allegedly confirmed for the role of Hanuman. Additionally, talks are underway for Bobby Deol and Vijay Sethupathi to take on the roles of Kumbhakarna and Vibhishana. The makers plan to watch a Diwali 2025 release for “Ramayana,” although no official confirmation has been provided.
