BJP Declares Mohan Yadav as New Madhya Pradesh CM
After a long wait, BJP has finally announced that 3-time MLA Mohan Yadav will take over as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who previously held the post for a long time, officially passed on the baton to Yadav, who has been serving as the MLA for the Ujjain Dakshin constituency with a huge win margin of 13,000 votes, will be taking oath as the new CM on December 13. Chouhan has openly given his blessings to Mohan Yadav as his successor after the decision.
Ever since BJP’s dominant wins in the ‘Hindi heartland’ states – Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh, people have been eager to see the new CM faces of the party in these states. While Mohan Yadav has been confirmed as MP’s new CM, Vishnu Deo Sai has been selected to take oath as the next Chhattisgarh CM. However, the CM face for Rajasthan is yet to be announced. While some are speculating that former CM Vasundhara Raje will refill the position, there have been rumours of BJP looking for a new CM face for Rajasthan as well. The party is yet to announce its final decision on this matter.
