CM Himanta Biswa Sarma: Voting for Cong Means Encouraging ‘Babars’
Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma is known for his actively vocal statements against the Congress, often attacking them for vote-bank politics. In his recent public rally in Madhya Pradesh, he took a strong jibe at the party, saying that voting for them would strengthen the ‘Babars’ and ‘Aurangzebs’ in the country. “Voting for Congress means encouraging the ‘Babars’ in the country. When Congress gets votes, ‘Aurangzebs’ get vitamins. If Congress wins, the Babars and Aurangzeb will start their atrocities on our people all over India,” he said.
He also slammed Congress for only following Hindutva during elections to gain votes. “Congress won in Karnataka, and from where the Babars and Aurangzebs got oxygen, I don’t know, the chaos started. Congress wins, and their mischief begins immediately. This is their politics. We have to reject the Hindutva of ‘Chunavi’ Congress,” he said. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma is among the many star campaigners of the BJP who have been assigned the task of leading the party’s election campaign in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and other states that are in the midst of the polling process.
