Yogi Adityanath Prioritises Ayushman Cards for the Needy
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the health officials to create Ayushman Health Cards for the poor and needy on priority. This includes people who may have been earlier deprived of health benefits, according to ANI. He engaged with a large number of people outside Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan at Gorakhnath Temple and listened to their issues relating to this health scheme. He then stated, “Protecting public health is our responsibility, so money should not be an obstacle in anyone’s treatment.” He also added that no tolerance would be shown against officials who show negligence in creating Ayushman Health Cards for the needy at utmost priority.
CM Yogi Adityanath also recently announced that new health machinery had been set up at Community Health Centre (CHC) in the Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. He stated that the dream of leader Jai Prakash Nayaran has ‘come true’ as the entire CHC has been revamped. Adityanath became UP’s CM for the second time last year when the BJP registered a huge win in the Assembly Elections. His state government will continue till 2027, till the next state elections are held.
