Google’s Generative AI ‘Vertex’ open for public use
Google has finally sent its response to Generative Artificial Intelligence technology called Vertex, which has now available for the general masses. It is a cloud-based machine learning platform that is linked with Google Cloud, and this combination will make a big difference in creating new machine learning models. Google Cloud’s official statement on this matter reads, “We are committed to making generative AI accessible and valuable to everyone. This requires proving not only powerful foundation models but also robust models that enable fast and secure adoption, accommodating organisations regardless of their expertise.”
The Vertex platform will provide a whole range of tools for the use of model developers in fine-tuning, deploying and managing in the creation of models. Vertex was first around in March and has been finally released after several rounds of testing. Quite recently, Google Cloud had also announced free courses on AI learning for all, along with a number of advanced courses with subscription. All the major tech giants are today investing heavily on Generative AI, which is said to be one of the biggest branches of the technology in terms of machine learning.
