Nora Fatehi recalls getting ‘panic calls’ from producers
Nora Fatehi is among the most sought-after dance divas in Bollywood, having performed for a number of dance numbers in Hindi and regional Indian films. However, she has confessed in a recent interview with BBC Asian Network that she has gotten ‘panic calls’ from producers to perform in films that are not made well. Nora further emphasised on why she does not agree to all such offers as she doesn’t want to be known only as a dancer, and that she has worked extremely hard for her success.
She said, “I don’t expect anything but the best, because I have sacrificed so much, and when I go in front of the camera, or when I’m on stage, I don’t leave any crumbs, I eat.” Nora Fatehi has appeared in several hit films such as Baahubali: The Beginning, Batla House, Satyamev Jayate and its sequel, to name a few for dance cameos. While she has also held major acting roles in films like Bhuj: The Pride of India, and Street Dancer 3D is yet to establish herself as an actress. She is currently working on multiple projects, including Madgaon Express.
