Lionel Messi Makes a Powerful Comeback with Inter Miami
Fans got to witness the masterclass of football legend Lionel Messi once again in Inter Miami’s recent match against Atlanta United. This match was only his second appearance in the Leagues Cup while representing his team, which is incidentally co-owned by another football legend, David Beckham. Messi scored his first goal of the night within the first eight minutes itself, taking his team to a strong start. He scored another goal later in the match and made a special gesture in celebration, which was directed to Beckham.
After scoring the goal, Lionel Messi made the ‘hold my beer’ sign towards Beckham, who reciprocated by applauding him with a smile on his face. Messi eventually led Inter Miami to a huge win as their tally ended at 4-0 against Atlanta United. Messi made his debut in this league last week against Cruz Azul and scored his debut goal in the league in that match as well. Lionel Messi, who has won the Ballon d’Or seven times during the course of his illustrious career, has also been named the Captain of Inter Miami by the team management for this season.
