Pentagon: China aware of the ‘consequences’ of supplying weapons to Russia
The United States of America appears to be in no mood to go easy on China for supporting Russia in the ongoing Ukraine conflict, which is visible in a new statement by the Pentagon. Press Secretary Brigadier General of the Pentagon, Pat Ryder recently stated that there had been no indications about arms trade between China and Russia; but they have communicated to their Chinese counterparts about the “negative consequences of providing lethal aid to Russia”, as per Republic.
Tensions between the United States of America and China have been soaring higher than ever after the Pentagon claimed that China sent a spy balloon to America, which was later shot down. China’s support for Russia in the ongoing Ukraine conflict has further heated up the situation, and the U.S. has placed heavy sanctions against supplying any arms and ammunition to Russia. However, that has not stopped China from deepening economic ties with Russia by agreeing to trade in their respective currencies, thereby dropping the U.S. Dollar. While these escalations between the United States and China are currently under control, they are far from being resolved.
