A 25-year-old Indian man was arrested in Moncton, Canada, for allegedly groping at least twelve people, including minors

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) reported that the incidents occurred around 2 PM on July 7 at a public water park on Mountain Road. Upon arriving at the scene, the Codiac Regional RCMP learned that the man had been walking around the premises, inappropriately touching people. Among the victims, some were under the age of 16. The police apprehended the suspect while he was still at the location. However, he was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on October 24. Sgt. Sylvette Hebert of the Codiac Regional RCMP stated that the investigation remains active, and authorities are working diligently to identify any additional victims.

Hebert urged parents to talk to their children if they were at the water park on July 7 and emphasized that a sexual assault complaint can be made at any time. The police reassured the public that victims of sexual misconduct will be listened to and believed. They also encouraged anyone with information about the incidents to contact local police. The RCMP’s appeal to the public ensures that all victims receive the support they need and that justice is served.
